'Stripes On Green'

Sunday, April 26, 2015

I hope y'all are having a wonderful day. For me, the combination of stripes and green is a mature and classy combination. I have always wanted to talk about the issue of buying expensive things all in the name of trying to look good. You don't have to spend all your money on buying very expensive things especially if you are a student. There's something called the "student budget". So many people think because I'm a blogger, I spend all my money shopping but it's not true. At times, I don't even get to shop in a month because there are some more important things to do before shopping and I draw my scale of preference. I love shopping though but I don't buy every time. I want to make it clear that it's not always about buying expensive things at times. You can buy cheap things and make it look expensive. Your carriage matters. I'm not saying don't buy expensive things. If you have the money why not?? I'm just relating with the student budget right now. At times if I want something so much and it's expensive, I save up for it oh.... lol because it's also good to invest in things that are worth it;).

Back to my outfit, I've had this shirt and trouser for over a year and that was the first time wearing them. The truth is not like everything was so cheap but it was affordable. I asked a friend what she felt about the outfit and she was like it's simple but classy. So, even with the " student budget" you can still look good and classy. It's also good to save. The fedora hat is a wardrobe essential for me as it represents style, class and sophistication. It gives your outfit an entirely different look. Also, I think it's important to have something with stripes in your wardrobe which may include shirt, blazer, skirt, dress, clutch etc. it's easy to combine with other stuffs.
