My people how far now? How una dey? Hehe lol guys how are you doing? As for me, I'm chilling no school for me today because it's my country's Independence Day and it's our 55th today. Most of you know I'm Nigerian and I am proud to be one. I did a post about my country few months ago so if you missed out you can check  Here.
Today's post is kind of different because it's a collaboration with another Nigerian Fashion Blogger. Who doesn't love collaborations??? Lol. Myself and TUKE got hooked up by a friend when I was in Nigeria for the summer holiday and we started talking. We were supposed to do a collaboration in summer but it wasn't possible due to reasons beyond us, :( but you know what they say; Every disappointment is a blessing in disguise. We continued talking about our collaboration and came up with this Independence Day Theme. It really made sense to me because we are Nigerian's and Independence comes once in a year.
I like TUKE really and when we started talking there was this flow, no stress or awkwardness trying to talk to her. I don't miss out on her blog posts and I also love the fact that she's a Saxophonist. Like it's so nice and she reminds me of my junior sister who plays the Sax too :).

When we came up with this theme I had to check my wardrobe if I had anything green. I saw this oversize shirt and remembered my green shoes too but I wasn't really convinced about the outfit because the shirt and shoes were different shades of green but oh well I had to make do with what I have not every time buy new stuffs and come to think of it, you can actually rock different shades of green. It came out really nice. And you guys know our Flag has colours green and white. In my pictures you can also see the flowers and grasses are green too obviously (in the spirit of independence).

Nigeria the Giant of Africa, We might not be where we should be in every aspect but I believe God loves us so much and with time, everything will work together for our good. Nigeria would be a better place because we have potentials.
Thank you for reading guys. You can check out Tuke's blog for more pictures and inspiring posts Here
