Wednesday, February 06, 2019

Hey lovelies! how are you all doing? as for me, I'm doing alright and back with another work style post.
My last work style post was HERE please check it out in case you missed it.
HOW I STYLED MY WHITE SHIRT
On the blog today, we'll be talking about the classic white shirt and how to incorporate it into work. This isn't the first time styling a white shirt on the blog and as a matter of fact, I've talked about the importance of having a white shirt in your wardrobe and have styled a white shirt in other ways asides work style. You can check HEREHEREHEREHERE and HERE for ways I styled my white shirt.
STYLING WHITE SHIRT FOR WORK
The classic white shirt is the ultimate wardrobe staple which every woman should have. They make the best trans-seasonal piece and can be dressed up and down.
The white shirt is very versatile, the sleeves can be rolled like I did, can be tucked all round, tucked in the front alone, tucked half the front (one side out) or even loose (untucked).
It's also a great layering piece and you can find a blog post where I talked about the art of layering with a white shirt HERE.
For my look, paired my white shirt with with my blue pants called BLUE ORCHIDS by a Nigerian brand. I was actually gifted this piece in December and was love at first sight. Love the fact that it's work appropriate, it's an unusual piece, really creative and love how stylish it is. It was sent in a size 8 my perfect side but didn't like the flap area from the pictures. Every other thing was good. The best option was styling with a white shirt because I had in mind to accessorize with my beautiful blue bag from another Nigerian brand and blue graduation shoes from Zara which I last wore in 2017 and is probably sold out.
The photographer did justice to this shoot despite the challenges we had shooting that day. I shot two other looks with him and can't wait to share. Love all pictures.
Thank y'all for visiting and would love to see your posts in the comment section how you styled a white shirt. Cheers..
