Hey guys! whats happening? I trust y'all are doing fine.
Happy Easter Sunday and welcome back to my blog. On the blog today, I'll be sharing this all black look and also give tips to styling an all-black outfit.

It's strange that I've never styled an all-black outfit and I actually have lots of black pieces in my wardrobe. I really love an all-black look. They are chic, edgy and slimming. The other times I styled black looks on the blog actually had a pop of color. You can find some black outfit looks I styled HEREHEREHEREHERE and HERE.
Wearing an all-black outfit will never go out of style and it is a great way to make a statement. Theres actually nothing more minimalist and easier to pull off than an all-black outfit. The color black is very versatile I mean, it goes with every other color. It's the Queen of all colors. No wonder why I had lots of black shoes while growing up as a child.
Styled this outfit for an event which I got invited for but was unable to shoot this look that day and later linked up with my photographer friend who took these pictures when he came to Lagos. I just had to shoot this look because I loved it so much and from my Instagram stories, I got lots of people asking for the full look.
how to style an all black outfit
The best part about this look for me was my hairstyle and red lips. Made my hair into a high ponytail for a different look with my Kinky blow out ponytail from NATURALGIRLWIGS. The red lipstick in this look is actually my second favorite red lipstick after Mac's Ruby woo. It's called ARRIBA by colourpopcosmetics. This all-black look made my caramel skin pop with the sun and the photographer did an amazing job. It was so much fun shooting this look I really love the pictures from this shoot.
  • Accessorize with statement, colorful, silver or gold accessories like I did.
  • Make your outfits pop with colorful shoes.
  • Add some texture to an all black look to avoid a  boring finish. Texture means including pieces with different fabrics in an all black look.
  • Add black pieces that include designs or graphics on them in order to take a bit of the drama out of the black.
  • Apply red nail polish or red lipstick like I did to make your all-black outfit interesting.
I really hope these tips were helpful and straight to the point. Thanks for visiting, enjoy your holiday and see y'all in my next post. Cheers!!
