Hey guys! How are y’all doing? Welcome back to my blog. I hope y’all are staying home and 
keeping safe. As for me, I’ve been working at the hospital since I’m considered an essential worker. I also try to stay safe by having my sanitizer, masks, gloves and attending to patients from a 
distance by maintaining social distancing.

It is no news that the coronavirus pandemic has upended all our lives in previously unimaginable 
ways. In a very short period of time, we went from spending a lot of money to rent halls for parties 
and events to holding these events on platforms like zoom. 
A lot of things have been disrupted and no one can blame you for wanting to pause and take a 
breather. No one can also blame you for wanting to get back into the thick of things if this crisis had 
you to stop. Regardless of where you are right now, allow me to share some tips that can help 
navigate life through COVID19. Call it this doctor’s recommendations if you will.  


Create Routines
As the days seem to merge into themselves, having a daily routine is essential to keeping a sense of 
normalcy through the unorthodox times we are living in. Routines will help you develop healthy 
habits and eradicate bad habits. You also get to be in charge of your day when you create routines and also 
follow them. 
Some of the things I’ve been able to do this period includes creating lots of video content, cooking  
lots of delicious meals, watching Korean series, skipping, catching up with Covid19 news all over the world and also meditating. Y’all know asides from being a Medical Doctor, I’m also a content 
creator. I’ve been able to achieve these things by creating a routine for myself.
Do you have a daily routine? If you do, what does it include? 
If you do not have a routine, have you thought about creating one? Having a regular schedule means 
that you are a step away from living a successful life. Remember that the potential to achieve 
greatness lies in you and that forming habits takes time and effort.

Get enough sleep
A good amount of sleep is incredibly important for your health. It is just as important as eating right 
and even exercising. Experts recommend between 7-8 hours of sleep because it can: 
  • Improve your immune system.
  • Reduce the risks of weight gain and obesity.
  • Help regulate the appetite.
  • Enhance your memory and improve your problem-solving abilities.
  • Improve your overall physical appearance.
I have been trying to get enough sleep even though my sleeping pattern got messed up when the lockdown started initially but It has improved.

Don't skip meals
I know there has been a buzz around intermittent fasting on the internet and really it is one of the 
world’s most popular health and fitness trends. Many people are using it to lose weight, improve their 
health and simplify their lifestyles. However, as medical practitioners and health professionals, now may not be the best time for this as you need to fill up your body with healthy nutrients to help you 
stay strong during this pandemic. 
I make sure I eat well, take my vitamin supplements on a daily basis, drink lots of green tea with 
ginger & garlic, which helps to boost my immune system. I even try not to skip breakfast which is the most important meal of the day because I have to be fit and well myself before rendering medical services.
In conclusion, I’d like to remind y’all that Covid19 is still very much around so, please stay safe and don’t 
go out if there’s no need to irrespective of if the lockdown has been eased in your state or not. If there's an 
urgent need to go out, please make sure you have a mask, sanitizer and maintain social distancing. I hope
