I wanted to draft this blog post a while ago but maybe because I was really focused on school work and was really stressed, I couldn't come up with the title of this blog post. I knew what I wanted to talk about but just kept staring at my pictures.
Let us just say creative block had set in. Anyway, I reached out to a very close friend of mine Akin Faminu who is a top fashionista and really good with editorial content, and he came up with this title, I looked up the meaning and then got to work. So thankful I have a few people to reach out to for things like this.. The title actually made sense and I have also shared just two Editorial content on here. The first one I shared was in 2018 and it was titled A Vintage Fashion Editorial and the second one was A Date With Nature.
How are you guys doing? Welcome back to my blog. Now that I have fully transitioned into Autumn, I can now bombard you guys with so many looks I have created. Let's go! You can check my last blog post Hello, Fall! How to style a blazer with jeans. for better understanding.
Everyone that saw this particular picture said this is a Magazine Cover-Worthy Photo and I agree!
MODISH- This means something stylish, fashionable. I totally agree! This dress was love at first sight in the Zara store at Norwalk, Connecticut. I went there to shop during the Zara sale in summer and the moment I saw this dress, I knew it was coming home with me. The style, fabric, color and gold button detail got me hooked. Also, I knew this was something my mum was going to like lol very decent. I decided to do a monochromatic / all nude look while planning to shoot this look. Thankfully, I already had my boots and pretty white bag the most expensive bag I currently own lol. It was the first item on my birthday wish-list. I bought the hat to complete my look. I also knew my accessories were going to be gold. My sister said this look is giving rich aunty in Monaco vibes. Lord are you listening? please o na money remain hehe.
Another thing I really loved while shooting this look was the location. My photographer RennysVirtualPortfolio has the best eyes and scouts for the best locations. The red door and brick-wall really made the outfit pop. So perfect! I also got compliments from people while scouting for my shoot location.
Let me know what you guys think about the outfit and pictures. I really love this entire look and I hope you guys do. Thanks for visiting and see y'all in my next post which is going to be a collaboration post with another influencer here in Connecticut. I can't wait to share!
